This is today's devotional: James 4.
Keep resisting evil, and draw nearer to the Lord. The more you say "No, no, no!" to sin, the harder it will push itself on you. prayer can't get you through a hard time by itself. It helps a lot, but if you still struggle to stand up, use the Word! The Word of God is here to lift you us and bring life in abundance and to the fullest extent in which you have! Don't you just sit there, moping and sobbing, because what you're going through is tough. Do not leave the Word of God abandon on your dresser because you're too lazy to get up and fetch it, or because you think you can get through this by yourself. BY NO MEANS! God is here to give Love to His children, and this Love is here for you to apply to you life in EVERY way! Take it, and run. Don't look back, but onto the future in which holds Jesus for all. Focus, child. Focus on your King.
