He protects you. He requires no "thank you". He will not keep track of when you say it and when you don't. Because love keeps no record of wrongs(1 Corinthians 13:4). Just know He does it because he loves you.

If it makes you happy, by all means! Let the happiness flow! But know that you ultimately decide what you do. So if you choose to listen to bad music or watch a bad movie, that's your decision. God can only try to keep you near Him as far as the line that separates God from sin is. You choose. :)

Keep resisting evil, and draw nearer to the Lord. The more you say "No, no, no!" to sin, the harder it will push itself on you. prayer can't get you through a hard time by itself. It helps a lot, but if you still struggle to stand up, use the Word! The Word of God is here to lift you us and bring life in abundance and to the fullest extent in which you have! Don't you just sit there, moping and sobbing, because what you're going through is tough. Do not leave the Word of God abandon on your dresser because you're too lazy to get up and fetch it, or because you think you can get through this by yourself. BY NO MEANS! God is here to give Love to His children, and this Love is here for you to apply to you life in EVERY way! Take it, and run. Don't look back, but onto the future in which holds Jesus for all. Focus, child. Focus on your King.

Look at Jesus. People are desperately in need of that loving touch He was giving. And when we overcome what our hands want and follow the Lord, His hands become ours and He will work through us. To become more like Jesus requires sacrifice of flesh, and indulgence of the Spirit of God. Do what you please...or don't. ;)

Jesus took His time to wash His disciples' feet. One of the lowest jobs a slave could do. But Jesus did it when nobody else did. Because He Loved them. He wanted to show His kindness to them...all while knowing they'd betray Him later that night. He still Loved them and wanted to show His Loving Kindness. The Power of God's Love is unmatchable. Even for others' sins against you. So forgive and forget, just like Jesus. :)

You can't get out of a sticky situation by yourself. You need, need, need someone else to help. You're not a super-human, so don't try to be a lone ranger. It's okay to ask for help. :) I'm here for you! That's why I send devotionals. For you. :)

He loves you so much, and He wants the best for you. And the best you could ever have is inside the Word of God. Applying it to your life will lead you down one, straight, victorious path. "Sing it out, sing an Anthem to His name! A generation worshiping unashamed! Give it all to the glory of our King! We will run, we will run after Your heart! We believe You are all that You say You are! Give it all for the Glory of our King!!" <3
